How To Create A Killer Order Form
Many marketers leave this out of their sales process and its a big mistake because a good order form attracts the attention of the scanners. Scanners are people who are slightly intrigued by the headline, but not enough to start reading the sales page word by word. They will scan down the page, read the subheads, all the way down to the order button. Usually they are looking for a price or figuring out the length of the sales letter to decide if they will read the whole thing.
Whenever a scanner hits a sales page, most of the time they will be looking for a price and most of the time scanner knows the price can be found on the order form that is why you need to have killer copy on the order form. Order form are critical as it reinforce the sale so at this point, the prospect might reach for their credit card or PayPal account. They might be having thoughts about the purchase. However, a good order form will reinforce their decision and you will get the sale.
Below is a time-tested format for creating an order form that will reinforce a sale and intrigues people to read the entire letter:
Order page has been shown to convert higher when it’s on the same page as the main sales letter in the Internet marketing niche. But there are some niches, that converts well using a separate order page. you can test and see which converts better for you. One more important thing you need to remember and put in in your mind is to make sure to have a check box before your headline of your order form. Check box is an “Involvement Device” that rise conversion up to 42 percent according to Internet marketing guru Mark Joyner.
And finally you need to tell the prospect exactly what you want them to do after they read your sales letter, do not make them figure out themselves because they never will.
You have to be assertive in your close, if you feel that the product will make your prospect live a better life then say so and paint pictures in your prospect’s mind of how their life’s going to be better after using the product you are promoting.
